Oddmund Myklebust
Oddmund Myklebust (21 April 1915 – 14 September 1972) was a Norwegian fisher and politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Sandøy. In 1965 he was appointed Minister of Fisheries in the centre-right cabinet Borten. He remained in this position until the 8 November 1968, being replaced by Einar Hole Moxnes. The Minister of Fisheries is a councilor of state in the Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs (Norway). Per Borten
(3 April 1913 – 20 January 2005) was a Norwegian politician from the Centre Party and the 25th prime minister of Norway from 1965 to 1971. Per Borten is credited for leading the modernization of what was then named Bondepartiet (the Agrarian Party) into today's Centre Party. He was an active opponent of Norway joining the European Union. Early life Borten was born in Flå in the municipality of Melhus in Sør-Trøndelag, and was educated Agriculturist from the Norwegian College of Agriculture in 1939. He started his political career serving as mayor of his home municipally, Flå, from 1945 to 1955. He was elected to the Norwegian parliament in 1949 and stayed there until his retirement in 1977. Magnus Andersen (politician)
Magnus Kristoffer Andersen (20 March 1916 in Andøy – 11 December 1994) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He served as Minister of Fisheries from 1963 to 1965 and again from January to October 1972. He was also an MP for Nordland from 1965 to 1973. Andersen worked as a fisher until 1955, when he became chairman of Norges Fiskarlag (Union of Norwegian Fishers), where he had been a member of the board since 1951. He served as chairman of the organisation until 1963. This year Andersen became Minister of Fisheries in the fourth cabinet Gerhardsen (25 September 1963 - 12 October 1965). Einar Hole Moxnes
Einar Hole Moxnes (11 June 1921 in Alstahaug – 20 January 2006 in Trondheim) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sør-Trøndelag in 1969, and served as a deputy representative during the terms 1958–1961, 1961–1965, 1965–1969 and 1973–1977. From 1965 to 1968 he met as a regular representative, replacing Per Borten who was Prime Minister. He was the acting Minister of Fisheries from March to November 1968 during the cabinet Borten. On 8 November, he was formally appointed to the position. During this period he was replaced in the Norwegian Parliament by Olina Storsand. He lost the job when the cabinet Borten fell in 1971, but he returned as Minister of Agriculture from 1972 to 1973 during the cabinet Korvald. Haram is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was part of the Sunnmøre region. The administrative center was Brattvåg, the industrial center of Sunnmøre.
