Odd Havrevold
Odd Havrevold (3 July 1900 – 1 May 1991) was a Norwegian physician and psychiatrist. Odd Wåge Havrevold was born in Vestre Aker, Norway. He was a brother of writer Finn Havrevold and actor Olafr Havrevold. He earned his medical degree at the University of Oslo in 1926. He belonged to the first generation of Norwegian psychoanalysts, and became known internationally through his cooperation with Wilhelm Reich and Otto Fenichel Otto Fenichel (2 December 1897 in Vienna – 22 January 1946 in Los Angeles) was a psychoanalyst of the so-called "second generation". Vestre Aker
Vestre Aker (Western Aker) is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It has a population of 50,157 as of 2020. The previous Aker Municipality was merged into the city of Oslo in 1948. The borough of Vestre Aker was organized as part of the 1 January 2004 reform. Previous boroughs Vinderen and Røa became part of the new borough of Vestre Aker. The borough of Vestre Aker does not correspond to Vestre Aker parish of the Church of Norway, that lies east of the borough. The borough of Vestre Aker belongs to Ris, Røa and Voksen parishes of the Church of Norway. Situated in the hillside west of the city centre, Vestre Aker is known for being one of the wealthiest parts of Oslo. Finn Havrevold
Finn Havrevold (11 August 1905 – 18 February 1988) was a Norwegian novelist, short story writer, children's writer, playwright, illustrator and theatre critic. Personal life Havrevold was born in Kristiania as the son of wholesaler Lauritz Paulsen Havrevold and Marta Malena Nielsen. He was a brother of actor Olafr Havrevold and psychiatrist Odd Havrevold. He was married to journalist Gunvor Øwre. Career Havrevold was educated as architect, graduating from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1929. In the 1930s he worked as a freelance book illustrator. He made his literary debut in 1939 with the short story collection ''Det raker ikke Andersen'', about juvenile loneliness and uncertainty. His novel ''Til de dristige'' from 1946 describes a war hero who lost his girlfriend to his brother during the war. Olafr Havrevold
Olafr Havrevold (26 May 1895 – 11 July 1972) was a Norwegian engineer and actor. Biography He was born at Christiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of Lauritz Paulsen Havrevold (1859–1940) and Marta Malena Nielsen (1873–1927). He was a brother of writer Finn Havrevold (1905–1988) and psychiatrist Odd Havrevold (1900–1991). After graduating artium 1914 and a year of study in liberal arts at the University of Washington in Seattle, he graduated as a chemistry engineer at Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH) in Trondheim during 1920. He made his stage debut at the short-lived Intimteatret in Oslo during 1922. He worked for the National Theater in Oslo from 1923 to 1965. He also played for Radioteatret and Fjernsynsteatret. He held the presidency in the Norwegian Stage Instructor's Association from 1954 to 1959 and participated in the board of the State Teaterskole from 1956. Wilhelm Reich ( , ; 24 March 1897 – 3 November 1957) was an Austrian Doctor of Medicine, doctor of medicine and a psychoanalysis, psychoanalyst, along with being a member of the second generation of analysts after Sigmund Freud. Otto Fenichel
Otto Fenichel (2 December 1897 in Vienna – 22 January 1946 in Los Angeles) was a psychoanalyst of the so-called "second generation". Education and psychoanalytic affiliations Otto Fenichel started studying medicine in 1915 in Vienna. Already as a very young man, when still in school, he was attracted by the circle of psychoanalysts around Freud. is the largest Norwegian biographical encyclopedia. The first edition (NBL1) was issued between 1921 and 1983, including 19 volumes and 5,100 articles. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old.
