Octavian George Popescu (; born 27 December 2002) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder for Liga I club FCSB and the Romania national team. After playing junior football for Rapid București and Universitatea Craiova among others, Popescu recorded his professional debut with FCSB in 2020, at age 17. Internationally, he made his senior debut for Romania in a 0–1 friendly loss to Greece in March 2022. Popescu previously represented the nation at under-21 and under-23 levels, competing in two UEFA European Championships with the former. Fotbal Club FCSB (), commonly known as FCSB, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest. It has spent its entire history in the top flight of the Romanian league system, the Liga I. The original ''Steaua București'' football team was founded in 1947 and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence, through the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club. Radu Matei Drăgușin (; born 3 February 2002) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Genoa and the Romania national team. Early life Drăgușin was born in Bucharest to Svetlana () and Dan Drăgușin, both former Romanian internationals in basketball and volleyball, respectively. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). Digi Sport is a Romanian sports television that was launched on 23 July 2009, available only on the Digi TV platform. Arena Națională () is a retractable roof football stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It opened in 2011 on the site of the original National Stadium, which was demolished between 2007 and 2008. The stadium hosts major football matches including home matches of the Romania national football team, and usually Romanian Cup Final. With 55,634 seats, it is the largest stadium in Romania and now serves primarily as the home of Liga I club FCSB. Asociația Club Sportiv Municipal Politehnica Iași (), commonly known as Politehnica Iași or simply Poli Iași, is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Iași, Iași County, which plays in the Liga II.
