Occupation (2021 Film)
''Occupation'' ( cs, Okupace) is a 2021 Czech comedy drama film directed by Michal Nohejl. In addition to Nohejl, Marek Šindelka and Vojtěch Mašek also participated in the script. The film was based on a story from the period of normalization, when a Russian soldier walks into the theater after the performance among the celebrating actors and the actors have to decide how to deal with the hated occupier. Martin Pechlát, Cyril Dobrý, Antonie Formanová, Otakar Brousek, Tomáš Jeřábek, Pavel Neškudla, Alexej Gorbunov and Vlastimil Venclík appeared in the main roles. The band Kill the Dandies!, who also appeared in the film, contributed to the film's soundtrack. The film was co-produced by Czech Television, with the support of the State Cinematography Fund. The film premiered in Czech cinemas on 5 August 2021. The film went through cinemas without much attention from the audience, but was praised by critics. Michal Nohejl
Michal (; he, מיכל , gr, Μιχάλ) was, according to the first Book of Samuel, a princess of the United Kingdom of Israel; the younger daughter of King Saul, she was the first wife of David (), who later became king, first of Judah, then of all Israel. In the Bible identifies Saul's elder daughter as Merab and younger daughter as Michal. Michal's story is recorded in the first Book of Samuel, where it is said in and that Michal loved David. The narrative does not indicate whether this is reciprocated. After David's success in battle against the Philistine giant Goliath, Merab was given in marriage to Adriel. In the history of Czechoslovakia, normalization ( cs, normalizace, sk, normalizácia) is a name commonly given to the period following the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968 and up to the ''glasnost'' era of liberalization that began in the Soviet Union and its neighboring nations in 1987. Antonie Formanová (born 30 June 1998) is a Czech actress. She starred in ''Dukla 61''. Biography Born in Prague as the youngest of three sisters, Antonie is a daughter of Czech actor and granddaughter of Miloš Forman and Jiří Stránský (which was a grandson of Czech politician Jan Malypetr). In 2016, Antonie directed a student film named ''Martin''. In 2017, she started studying at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, from which she earned a BcA. degree (equivalent to Bachelor of Fine Arts) three years later. Black Nights Film Festival
Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, or PÖFF ( et, Pimedate Ööde Filmifestival), is an annual film festival held since 1997 in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia.
