Oakland – Jack London Square station is a train station in Jack London Square of Oakland, California, United States. The station is served by Amtrak's ''Capitol Corridor'', ''Coast Starlight'', and ''San Joaquins'' trains. Through Amtrak Thruway buses, this station is one of two that serves San Francisco, the other being Emeryville. It is officially named Oakland – Jack London Square / C. L. Dellums Station after C. L. Dellums, co-founder of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters. Of the 74 California stations served by Amtrak, Oakland was the tenth-busiest in FY2012, boarding or de-training an average of about 1,142 passengers daily. King Street Station is a train station in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is served by Amtrak's '' Cascades'', ''Coast Starlight'', and ''Empire Builder'', as well as Sounder commuter trains run by Sound Transit. Oakland Coliseum Station
The Oakland Coliseum station complex is located in the East Oakland area of Oakland, California, United States. The complex consists of two separate stations, Amtrak's Oakland Coliseum station, and Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)'s Coliseum station, which are located approximately apart. The stations are connected to each other and to the Oakland Arena/Oakland Coliseum sports complex by an accessible pedestrian bridge. The BART station opened in 1972, providing access to the then-new Oakland Coliseum and the surrounding neighborhood. San Jose Diridon station is the central passenger rail depot for San Jose, California. It also serves as a major intermodal transit center for Santa Clara County and Silicon Valley. Emeryville station is an Amtrak station in Emeryville, California, United States. The station is served by the ''California Zephyr'', ''Capitol Corridor'', ''Coast Starlight'', and ''San Joaquins''. The station is the primary connection point for Amtrak Thruway buses serving San Francisco. Emeryville station has one side platform and one island platform serving the eastern two tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad Martinez Subdivision. Auburn station is an Amtrak station in Auburn, California. Located at the corner of Nevada Street and Fulweiler Street, it serves as the northern terminus of the ''Capitol Corridor'' line. The station is not staffed. The platform is next to a short spur track off Track 2 of Union Pacific Railroad's route over Donner Pass. Because of the geography of the city, the Union Pacific's mainline tracks are split, with Track 1 running through the eastern side of the city and Track 2 crossing the western side of the city. West Oakland is a neighborhood situated in the northwestern corner of Oakland, California, United States, situated west of Downtown Oakland, south of Emeryville, and north of Alameda. In railroad structures, and rail terminology, a wye (like the'' 'Y' ''glyph) or triangular junction (often shortened to just "triangle") is a triangular joining arrangement of three rail lines with a railroad switch (set of points) at each corner connecting to each incoming line. A turning wye is a specific case. A street running train is a train which runs on a track built on public streets. The rails are embedded in the roadway, and the train shares the street with other users, such as pedestrians, cars and cyclists, thus often being referred to as running in mixed traffic or sharing the road with trains.
