Chang Chen-yue
Chang Chen-yue (; born 2 May 1974), also known as A-Yue and by his Amis name Ayal Komod, is an aboriginal Taiwanese rock and Hip-Hop musician, songwriter, singer and guitarist, and the frontman of his band, Free Night, also known as Free9. He is most widely known for his 1998 hit song "''Ai Wo Bie Zou''" (Love me, don't go). His 2013 album ''I am Ayal Komod '' was awarded the Best Album Award during the 25th Golden Melody Awards. Chang is a Taiwanese aborigine of the Amis people. Life and career Chang was in the church choir as a child, which made him interested in music at a young age. He learnt to play the guitar in his middle school years and was gradually exposed to rock music. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after "Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. "Mandopop" was used to describe Mandarin-language popular songs of that time, some of which were versions of Cantopop songs sung by the same singers with different lyrics to suit the different rhyme and tonal patterns of Mandarin. Tanya Chua (; born 28 January 1975) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter. She launched her singing career by releasing her debut studio album ''Bored'' in 1997. Chyi Chin
Chyi Chin (; born 12 January 1960) is a Taiwanese singer, songwriter and actor. Early life Chyi was born in Taichung, Taiwan. When he was young, his father had a strict daily regimen of study that started at 5 am. His studies varied from English music and literature to classical Chinese literature and Tang dynasty poetry. Chyi, however, did not enjoy reading. When he became a teenager, his father's push for education caused a strain on their relationship. Chyi joined a local gang in defiance of his father, and landed in jail for three years as a result of his decision. During his incarceration, Chyi Chin learned to be introspective and kept a diary. While in prison, he earned an appreciation for music. The prison had a guitar in the courtyard for the "juvenile delinquents'" recreation, and Chyi taught himself how to play on it. MCHotDog (; born April 10, 1978) is a Taiwanese rap artist known for his use of explicit lyrics in his songs. In 2001, his four mini-CDs sold over 220,000 copies. In 2004, he toured with Chang Chen-yue in the North American Kill Kitty tour. In 2006, MCHotDog released an album ''Wake Up'', which contains hit song 「我愛臺妹」 (I Love Taiwanese Girls). 「我愛臺妹」 is currently featured in a commercial for Kuang Chuan Tea Time. Patty Hou (; born 20 December 1977) is a Taiwanese former news anchor. She has subsequently hosted an entertainment program on Azio TV and published the book ''Patty's About Love''. Career Hou was born in Taipei, Taiwan, she graduated with a degree in mass communications and psychology from the University of Southern California.
