''O.K.'' is a mixtape by Kool A.D., released November 26, 2015. The album features guest appearances from Killer Mike, Shady Blaze, Angel Haze, Lakutis, Despot, Chairlift, Toro Y Moi, Talib Kweli, Boots Riley of The Coup, and Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire and is composed of 100 songs, meant as a "spiritual soundtrack" to his upcoming 100-chapter novel, also titled ''O.K.'' Boy Crisis
Boy Crisis was an American band that was influenced by the post-disco–post-punk sound of the early 1980s. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Boy Crisis consisted of members Tal Rozen, Alex Kestner, Victor Vazquez, Lee Pender, and Owen Roberts. Victor Vazquez is now an MC and was formerly part of the rap group Das Racist. History Boy Crisis formed initially as a project between Victor Vazquez, Tal Rozen and Alex Kestner at Wesleyan University in 2005, but they did not start playing shows until Lee Pender joined in 2007. Rory William Quigley (born January 26, 1987), known professionally as Harry Fraud, is an American record producer. Primarily a hip hop producer, Fraud began producing at an early age and began interning at a recording studio after graduating high school. Dijon Isaiah McFarlane (born June 5, 1990), known professionally as Mustard (also known as DJ Mustard), is an American record producer and beatmaker. Kassa Overall (born 9 October 1982) is a jazz drummer, producer, rapper and bandleader. History Kassa was born and raised in Seattle, and attended Garfield High School, where several notable musicians have also attended including Jimi Hendrix and Quincy Jones. He started playing drums as a toddler after his parents gifted his older brother a drum set. Kassa went on to study percussion at the Oberlin Conservatory. As an undergraduate at Oberlin, Kassa once confronted faculty that endorsed his jazz studies but disapproved of his passion for hip-hop beat making.
