O. Frank Thornton
Oscar Frank Thornton (July 26, 1905 – January 12, 1992), also known as O. Frank Thornton, was an American politician. He served as Secretary of State of South Carolina from 1950 to 1979. The South Carolina House of Representatives is the lower house of the South Carolina General Assembly. ''The Greenville News'' is a daily morning newspaper published in Greenville, South Carolina. After ''The State'' in Columbia and Charleston's ''The Post and Courier'', it is the third largest paper in South Carolina.
