The Andy's Frozen Custard 300 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car racing, stock car race that takes place at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. History The race came about from the results of the Ferko v. National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, Inc., Ferko lawsuit in 2004. With Darlington Raceway forced to forfeit its Southern 500 (1950–2004), Southern 500 weekend as a result of the lawsuit, TMS gained a second weekend on the schedule for the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series racing, and fifth race for the NASCAR playoffs, NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs. The 2008 race was won by Kyle Busch, breaking Kevin Harvick's string of three consecutive wins in this race. In 2021, the race gained sponsorship from Andy's Frozen Custard and was branded the Andy's Frozen Custard 335 to celebrate the company's 35th anniversary. Trevor Bayne
Trevor Mitchell Bayne (born February 19, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver, dirt racing driver, team owner, and businessman. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 18 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing and part-time in the American Crate All-Star Series presented by PPM, driving the No. 29 Longhorn Chassis for Trevor Bayne Racing. He is the youngest person to ever win the Daytona 500, the largest event in NASCAR, doing so a day after his 20th birthday in 2011. Carl Michael Edwards II (born August 15, 1979) is an American former professional stock car racing driver. He last competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 19 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. Prior to that, he drove the No. 99 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing. The 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series began on February 14 at Daytona International Speedway with the Camping World 300. The season concluded on November 21 at Homestead–Miami Speedway with the Ford 300. With 25 top-five finishes, Kyle Busch was the season champion. He finished 210 points clear of Carl Edwards and 318 ahead of Brad Keselowski.
