Nytt På Nytt
''Nytt på nytt'' ("News Anew", literally "new on new") is a Norwegian version of the British TV comedy panel show ''Have I Got News for You'' (created by Hat Trick Productions for the BBC). The programme is a competition between a pair of two-person teams, with one permanent panellist and one guest player on each team. The aim is for each of the teams to score points by correctly answering questions based on the week's news. In practice, however, the point-scoring element is secondary: although the final scores do get a brief mention at the end of the show, the entertainment chiefly comes from witty remarks made by the panellists and the banter that passes between them. When the show was first launched, in the spring of 1999, Jon Almaas was the host, and the permanent panellists were Knut Nærum and Anne-Kat. Hærland. Uutisvuoto (Finnish for "newsleak" - the pun works equally in both languages) is the Finnish version of the popular British television quiz show '' Have I Got News For You''. Broadcast on Saturday nights on Yle TV1 since 1998, the show received very high viewing figures. Uutisvuoto was aired on Yle TV1 from 1998 until May 2018, then moved to MTV3 in January 2019. Uutisvuoto mainly follows the same format as ''Have I Got News For You''. The guests are usually celebrities, and frequently politicians. In two presidential elections, both of the second-round candidates appeared as guests: to-be-president Tarja Halonen and Esko Aho in 2000, and president Halonen and Sauli Niinistö in 2006. Winning the show correlated with winning the election contest itself in both instances. In 2006, the "presidential show" broke all viewing records when it was watched by 1.4 million viewers (in a country of 5.2 million). Hat Trick Productions
Hat Trick Productions is an independent British production company that produces television and radio programmes, mainly specialising in comedy, based in London. History Hat Trick Productions was founded in 1986 by Rory McGrath, Jimmy Mulville, and Denise O'Donoghue. Its first commission was ''Chelmsford 123'', a situation comedy for Channel 4. Two years later, Geoffrey Perkins became company director, and helped to produce shows such as ''Father Ted'', ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?'', and '' Have I Got News for You''. Perkins left the organisation in 1995, to become head of comedy for BBC Television. A panel show or panel game is a radio or television game show in which a panel of celebrities participates. ''Have I Got News for You'' (''HIGNFY'') is a British television panel show, produced by Hat Trick Productions for the BBC, which premiered on 28 September 1990. Snacka Om Nyheter
''Snacka om nyheter'' was the Swedish version of the BBC series '' Have I Got News for You'', broadcast by Sveriges Television. It was first broadcast on 5 March 1995 on TV2 and hosted by Stellan Sundahl. On 22 February 1999 Stellan Sundahl died, days after taping an episode that was shown the day before he died. The show was put on hiatus and the three remaining episodes were replaced by commemorative programmes. The show returned in November 2000 and was hosted by Sven Melander who would continue hosting it until the show's cancellation. The last programme was broadcast on 21 December 2003. ''Snacka om nyheter'' took many rounds from the British original, including the "Film Round", "Tabloid Headlines", "Odd One Out", "Missing Words" and "Caption Competition". ''Dit was het nieuws'' (; Dutch for "This was the news") is a Dutch television panel show, produced by AVROTROS and broadcast on NPO 1, wherein two teams give a satirical account of the previous week's news. The program has the form of a game show in which two teams, each with a team leader and weekly guest, compete against each other. The scoring is not serious; after the first round, for instance, the score is always 4-4. History ''Dit was het nieuws'' is based on the BBC television program '' Have I Got News for You''. On 28 June 1996, the first episode of ''Dit was het nieuws'' was aired by broadcasting station TROS on the Nederland 2 channel.
