Nyenga Mission Hospital, whose formal name is St. Francis Hospital Nyenga, but is commonly referred to as Nyenga Hospital, is a non-profit, community hospital in Uganda. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Lugazi ( la, Lugasien(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Lugazi in the ecclesiastical province of Kampala in Uganda. Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease (HD), is a long-term infection by the bacteria ''Mycobacterium leprae'' or ''Mycobacterium lepromatosis''. Infection can lead to damage of the nerves, respiratory tract, skin, and eyes.
