	Nyceryx Alophus ''Nyceryx alophus'' is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is found from Brazil to Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. The wingspan is about 54 mm. It is similar to ''Nyceryx continua, Nyceryx continua continua'', but the forewing upperside is more variegated because the lines are more distinct. The discal spot is narrow and elongate and there is a subbasal blackish band. The hindwing upperside has a basal yellow area which reaches the inner margin. Adults are probably on wing year round. 	Nyceryx Continua ''Nyceryx continua'' is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is found from Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil. The wingspan is 56–72 mm. There are no or faint lines in the basal costal area of the forewing upperside. The antemedian band is filled with black and is very oblique. The discal spot is rather large and the dot in front of it is distinct. The apical black half-moon dot is distinctly separate from the black marginal area. The hindwing upperside has a yellow basal area extending to the inner margin. Adults are probably on wing year round and have been recorded in August in Bolivia and in November in Peru. 	Nyceryx Hyposticta ''Nyceryx hyposticta'' is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It is the largest species in the genus ''Nyceryx ''Nyceryx'' is a genus of moths in the family Sphingidae. The genus was erected by Jean Baptiste Boisduval in 1875. Species '' Nyceryx alophus'' (Boisduval, 1875) '' Nyceryx brevis'' Becker, 2001 '' Nyceryx coffaeae'' ( Walker, 1856) '' Nyc ...'' and can be distinguished by the semitransparent spots in the distal half of the forewing and the pink hindwing upperside with three transverse black bands. There are numerous conspicuous yellow spots on the basal half of the forewing underside. The hindwing upperside ground colour is pink, with three transverse black bands. Adults are on wing year round and have been reported from February to May in Bolivia, in November in Peru and in October in Ecuador.
