Nyagan
Nyagan (russian: Нягань) is a town in the northwest of Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia, located near the Ob River and northwest of Khanty-Mansiysk. It is named after the Nyagan-Yugan River, a tributary of the Ob River. Population: Economy and history Nyagan is one of the youngest towns in Western Siberia. It was established in 1965 as a forestry center; it is now principally a center of the petroleum and natural gas industries, and was originally named Nyakh (). This toponym appeared on maps in the same year, but the town was renamed on August 15, 1985. The town territory is a waterlogged area, and the region is notable for sudden temperature drops. The railway from Yekaterinburg to the Ob region has passed through Nyagan since April 2, 1967. DAFIF () or the ''Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File'' is a comprehensive database of up-to-date aeronautical data, including information on airports, airways, airspaces, navigation data, and other facts relevant to flying in the entire world, managed by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) of the United States. Withdrawal of public access DAFIF was publicly available until October 2006 through the Internet; however, it was closed to public access because "increased numbers of foreign source providers are claiming intellectual property rights or are forewarning NGA that they intend to copyright their source". Currently, only federal and state government agencies, authorized government contractors, and Department of Defense customers are able to access the DAFIF data. Roshchino International Airport is an airport in Tyumen Oblast, Russia located 13 km west of the city of Tyumen. History The need for a new airport in the region was growing as oil industry was developing fast. There was a need for airport which will be able to receive An-22, An-12 aircraft for the transportation of national economy goods to the north of the Tyumen Oblast. To ensure passenger air traffic at the airport, An-24 aircraft are based. In 1964, it was decided to name the airport.
