Nuth Sony
Nuth (; li, Nut ) is a village and was a municipality in the province of Limburg, situated in the southern Netherlands. In January 2019, the municipality merged with Schinnen and Onderbanken to form Beekdaelen. The village of Nuth has 4,595 inhabitants (1 January 2021), and is with that the largest village of the municipality. The town hall of the municipality Nuth was also situated in the village Nuth. The other villages in the municipality were Hulsberg with 3972 inhabitants, Schimmert with 3184, Wijnandsrade with 1623 and Vaesrade with 997 inhabitants (data: 1-1-2021). The other population centres belong to one of the following villages. Wijnandsrade
Wijnandsrade (; li, Wienesrao ) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Beekdaelen. It is notable for its castle and church and two ponds, which define the village's centre. History The village was first mentioned between 1247 and 1288 as Rode, and means "cultivated forest". In the 14th century Wijnand was added after Winant van de Bongard to distinguish from other "rade" villages. Wijnandsrade developed in the Middle Ages. There was a motte-and-bailey castle near the village in the 12th century where a chapel was erected. The remains of the motte castle are located between the church and the current Wijnandsrade Castle. The oldest parts was built in 1554. The eastern and southern wings were added between 1717 and 1719. Between 1930 and 1932, it was converted into a Franciscan monastery and extensively modified. Nijmegen (;; Spanish and it, Nimega. Hubert Bruls
Hubertus Maria Franciscus "Hubert" Bruls (born 6 February 1966) is a Dutch politician who has served as Mayor of Nijmegen since 2012. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he has also served as chairman of the Dutch Security Council since 2016. Early life Bruls attended the former Bisschoppelijk College in Sittard – a gymnasium, the highest level of Dutch secondary education. He then studied political science at Radboud University Nijmegen, before working for the trade union NOVON/ABVAKABO. A76 Motorway (Netherlands)
The A76 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands. It is located entirely in the Dutch province of Limburg. Overview The motorway, 27 km long, connects the Belgian border ( A2/ E314 road) near Stein with Geleen, Heerlen and the German border ( A4 road) near Simpelveld. Along the entire stretch of the motorway, the European route E314 travels along the A76. The A76 features a number of incomplete connections and interchanges. At interchange Ten Esschen, only traffic to and from the western part of the A76 can reach the connecting N281 road. Exit 6, located approximately 1 km to the east, covers traffic from the eastern part of the A76 towards the N281 but not the other way around. It is mostly two lanes each way. Terstraten (; li, Tersjtraote ) is a hamlet in the municipality of Beekdaelen in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands. It is one of the so-called ''Bovengehuchten'', or Upper Hamlets, of Beekdaelen. Helle (; li, G'n Hèl ) is a hamlet in the municipality of Beekdaelen in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands. It is one of the so-called ''Bovengehuchten'', or Upper Hamlets, of Beekdaelen.
