Nursultan Tursynov
Nursultan Tursynov (born 30 January 1991) is a Kazakhstani Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the gold medal in the men's 85 kg event at the 2014 Asian Wrestling Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan and the silver medal in this event at the 2015 Asian Wrestling Championships in Doha, Qatar. Tursynov represented Kazakhstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the 87kg event. Career Tursynov competed in the 84kg event at the 2013 World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. In 2014, he lost his bronze medal match in the 85kg event at the Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea. In 2015, Tursynov was eliminated in his third match in the 85kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Las Vegas, United States. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Individual World Cup was held as replacement for the World Wrestling Championships. The 2014 Asian Games ( ko, 2014년 아시아 경기대회/2014년 아시안 게임, Icheon sip-sa nyeon Asia gyeonggi daehoe/Icheon sip-sa nyeon Asian Geim), officially known as the 17th Asian Games ( ko, 제17회 아시아 경기대회/제17회 아시안 게임, Jesipchilhoe Asia gyeonggi daehoe/Jesipchilhoe Asian Geim) and also known as Incheon 2014 ( ko, 인천2014, Incheon Icheon sip-sa), was a pan-Asian multi-sport event held in Incheon, South Korea. 2022 World Wrestling Championships
The 2022 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held between 10 and 18 September 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia. The UWW Bureau approved the candidature of Belgrade, Serbia as the host of the 2023 Senior World Championships. However, due to the restrictions on Russia for hosting World Championships in 2021–2022, Belgrade replaced the former city of Krasnoyarsk as the World Championships host for 2022. For 2023 the World Championships host will be reallocated to Russia. In addition, Russian and Belarusian athletes have been banned from 2022 World Championships.
