A Turkish name consists of an ''ad'' or an ''isim'' (given name; plural ''adlar'' and ''isimler'') and a ''soyadı'' or ''soyisim'' (surname). Turkish names exist in a "full name" format. Nurhan Atasoy
Nurhan Atasoy (born February 12, 1934) is a Turkish art historian. She specializes in history of Ottoman and Islamic art. She served as a Chair in the Department of Fine Arts, Archeology and Art History at Istanbul University until 1999 when she retired. She is a resident scholar of the Turkish Cultural Foundation. Since 2012 she sits as a permanent guest on Tarihin Arka Odası, a TV program dedicated to history, with journalist Murat Bardakçı and historian Erhan Afyoncu. Her family later moved to İstanbul, where she completed her primary and secondary education, graduating from Atatürk Kız Lisesi in 1953. Nur Nurhan Çakmak, aka Nurhan Çakmak, (born June 3, 1981) is a Turkish women's football forward currently playing in the Second League for Kireçburnu Spor with jersey number 20. She was a member of the Turkish national team in the years 1999 and 2000. Nur Nurhan Çakmak was born in Istanbul, Turkey on June 3, 1981. Playing career Club Nurhan Çakmak obtained her license for Maltepe Yalıspor on November 10, 1999. She was loaned out to Onurspor, where she played between 1999 and 2003. Nurhan Çınar (born 1994) is a Turkish female field hockey player. Sport career A native of Malatya, she played in the Turkey U18 girls' national team, and won the bronze medal at the 2011 EuroHockey U18 Girls' Championship III held in Smolevichi, Minsk, Belarus. She was named the ''Most Valuable Player''. In 2012, she was with the Turkey junior women's national team, which placed second at the 2012 EuroHockey Junior Women's Championships III held on July 19–22 in Lisbon, Portugal. Nurhan Süleymanoğlu (born February 28, 1971) is a Kazakhstan-born Turkish former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2007. As an amateur, he participated at the 1996 Summer Olympics, where he was stopped in the second round of the light welterweight (63,5 kg) division by Cuba's Héctor Vinent.
