Nura Musa Inuwa also called ''M Inuwa'' (born 18 September 1989) is a Hausa musician, artist and film producer. He was born, raised and educated in Kano State in the town of Gwammaja in Dala Local Government Area, Kano. Career Most of his songs were used in Kannywood films. He has over 500 songs. He associates with Umar Sharif, together they released an album called ''Rarrashi''. A Kannywood actor Adam A Zango was also his close friend in Kannywood film industry. He portrayed Nura M inuwa in a film called Rigar Aro. In 2019 he sang a campaign song to opposition candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Dala, Kano
Dala is a densely populated Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria within Kano city created in May, 1989 from the old Kano Municipal Local Government. It is located in the north-west part of the Kano metropolis. Its headquarter is in Gwammaja. Umar Sharif
Mohammad Umer (19 April 1960 – 2 October 2021), known professionally as Umer Shareef, was a Pakistani actor, comedian, director, producer, and television personality. Early life Mohammad Umer was born on 19 April 1960, into an Urdu speaking family in Liaquatabad, Karachi. Career Stage work In 1974, Umer started his career from Karachi as a stage performer at the age of 19. He joined theatre, using the stage name Umer Zarif but later renamed that to Umer Sharif. Hausa-language cinema, known informally as Kannywood, is the Hausa-language film industry of Northern Nigeria. It is based in Kano. Kannywood Kannywood is the sobriquet for Hausa-language cinema. It is a part of the larger Nigerian cinema, known as Nollywood, which includes other production centres producing films in many other Nigerian languages. The name "Kannywood" is a portmanteau derived from Kano and Hollywood, the center of the American film industry. "Kannywood" has origins in the late 1990s, when Sunusi Shehu of ''Tauraruwa Magazine'' created the term Kannywood and then it became the popular reference term for the industry in the Northern Nigeria. Kano State
