Number 1's (Prince Royce Album)
''#1's'' is the first compilation album by American singer Prince Royce; it was released on November 19, 2012, by Top Stop Music. The album, mostly a collection of Royce's hits thus far, contains tracks from his first two studio albums, ''Prince Royce'' (2010) and '' Phase II'' (2012). The release debuted and peaked at number three on the ''Billboard'' Top Latin Albums chart in the United States. Among the tracks included on the album are the US Latin and Tropical songs charts hit singles " Stand by Me", "Corazón Sin Cara", " Las Cosas Pequeñas", " Incondicional", and "Te Me Vas". ''#1's'' was eventually certified Platinum (Latin field) by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the US for certified units of at least 60,000. Prince Royce
Geoffrey Royce Rojas (born May 11, 1989), known professionally as Prince Royce, is an American singer. At an early age, Royce took an interest in music, and in his teenage years began experimenting with music and writing poetry. By age nineteen, Royce met Andrés Hidalgo, who became his manager. Hidalgo later introduced Royce to record producer Sergio George, who immediately signed him to his label after hearing three of his demos. In March 2010, Royce released his eponymous debut studio album, which generated two commercially successful singles, " Stand by Me" and "Corazón Sin Cara". In the United States, both songs reached number-one on the ''Billboard'' Tropical Songs chart, while "Corazón Sin Cara" reached number-one on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs chart. "Las Cosas Pequeñas" (English: "The Little Things") is a Latin pop and bachata song by American recording artist Prince Royce. It was written by Royce, Anthony López and Sergio George, who also produced it. It released as the first single from his second studio album, Phase II. It premiered on Latin radio on January 10, 2012 and was digitally released the following day by Top Stop Music. Royce has said that the song is about the little things that don't cost a lot and have great sentimental worth. The music video for the song, which was filmed at Central Park in New York City, was directed by Carlos Pérez of Elastic People. Background After the promotional buzz single, "Addicted" was released, it was announced that "Las Cosas Pequeñas" would follow up as the official first single from ''Phase II''. Maná () is a Mexican pop rock band. The band is considered one of the best-selling Latin music artists and the most successful Latin American band of all time with over 40 million records sold worldwide. Sergio George (born May 23, 1961) is an American pianist, arranger, and record producer, known for working with many famous performers of salsa music, although he has worked in other genres of the music industry as well. He has worked with some of Latin music's most popular artists starting with Marc Anthony, DLG, Jennifer Lopez, Tito Nieves, Víctor Manuelle, Frankie Negrón, Johnny Rivera, Ray Sepúlveda, Tito Puente, Thalia, Orquesta de la Luz, Ivy Queen, Celia Cruz, La India, Jerry Rivera, Bacilos, Leslie Grace, Toby Love, Cheo Feliciano, Prince Royce, Liz Elias, Indy Flow, among others.
