Nules
Nules is a town in eastern Spain, in the province of Castellón (Valencian Community). Located 18 km to the south of the province's capital, at 13 m over sea level, it has 13,750 inhabitants (2010 data), living in Nules Town, Nules Beach and Mascarell. Nules gives its name to the Nules variety of Clementine, which was first bred here in 1953. It is the most popular variety of Clementine grown in Spain. The municipality includes Mascarell, a historical village. Sergi Canós
Sergi Canós Tenés (born 2 February 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Brentford. Canós began his career in the Barcelona Academy and transferred to the Liverpool Academy in 2013. A fringe player at both Liverpool and his next club Norwich City, Canós transferred to Brentford in 2017, for whom he had previously played on loan from Liverpool during the 2015–16 season. By April 2021, he had made 200 appearances for the club. Canós represented Spain between U15 and U19 level and has been described as a "quick attacking player". Asensio Nebot
Asensio Nebot, known as "The Friar" and born in Nules, Spain in 1779, was a guerrilla in the Kingdom of Valencia during the Peninsular War. His exploits during the Peninsular War are well documented but, as he worked as a secret agent after the end of the war, there are gaps in what is known about his life from 1815 onwards. Peninsular War Asensio Nebot was born in Nules in 1779. He entered the Monastery of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Villarreal at a very early age to study to become a Franciscan friar. In 1809 the monastery was closed and Nebot joined the fight against the French after Napoleon's invasion of Spain in the Peninsular War. Nebot fought as a guerrilla and was known as ''El Fraile'' or Padre Nebot because of his Franciscan education. Clementine
A clementine (''Citrus × clementina'') is a tangor, a citrus fruit hybrid between a willowleaf mandarin orange ( ''C.'' × ''deliciosa'') and a sweet orange (''C. × sinensis''), named in honor of Clément Rodier, a French missionary who first discovered and propagated the cultivar in Algeria. The exterior is a deep orange colour with a smooth, glossy appearance. Clementines can be separated into 7 to 14 segments. Similar to tangerines, they tend to be easy to peel. They are typically juicy and sweet, with less acid than oranges. Their oils, like other citrus fruits, contain mostly limonene as well as myrcene, linalool, α-pinene and many complex aromatics.
