Nuestra Belleza Jalisco
Mexicana Universal Jalisco is a pageant in Jalisco, Mexico, that selects that state's representative for the national Mexicana Universal pageant. Jalisco is considered one of the strongest states in Mexican pageantry, as they are almost always among the finalists. Jalisco is the first state that has produced more winners of Nuestra Belleza México/Mexicana Universal in history. With 5 Nuestra Belleza México crowns (now Mexicana Universal), 3 of them being consecutive years 2008, 2009, 2010. The state organization has also produced one Nuestra Belleza Mundo México in 1996 and the second Miss Universe winner in Mexican history Ximena Navarrete in 2010. Jalisco is the state was the first to place two representatives in the top 5 (2008, 201 0, 2014). Jalisco was placed for the eleventh consecutive year in the top 5 since 2004. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Autlán
Autlán de Navarro is a city and its surrounding municipalities of Mexico, municipality of the same name in the Costa Sur region of the southwestern part of the state of Jalisco in Mexico. Karin Cecilia Ontiveros Meza (born February 5, 1988) is a Mexican television host, model, sportscaster and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Nuestra Belleza México 2010 and represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2011. Pageantry Ontiveros was crowned Nuestra Belleza Jalisco the night of July 22, 2010, and subsequently represented her state in the national competition, held in Saltillo, Coahuila, where she competed against thirty young women from all over the country. Ontiveros became the third consecutive Nuestra Belleza México winner from Jalisco on September 25, 2010, and the fourth in the pageant's history. Jalostotitlán
Jalostotitlán ( nah, Xālōztōtitlān, , place of sandy caves, ) is a town and municipality located in the northeast corner of the state of Jalisco, Mexico, in a region known as Los Altos. The municipality shares its border on the north with the municipality of Teocaltiche, the east with the municipality of San Juan de los Lagos, to the south with the municipality of San Miguel el Alto, to the southwest with the municipality of Valle de Guadalupe, and to the west with the municipality of Cañadas de Obregón. Miss Universe 2011 was the 60th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. At the end of the event, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico crowned Leila Lopes of Angola as Miss Universe 2011. It is the first victory of Angola, and the latest country as of 2022 to win its first crown at the pageant. The 17th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio Parque Las Maravillas in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on September 25, 2010.
