Nubia (character)
Nubia is a fictional character appearing in DC Comics publications and related media, commonly as an ally of Wonder Woman. Historically, she is DC Comics' first Black woman superhero. Introduced in 1973 as Wonder Woman's long-lost Twin#Dizygotic (fraternal) twins, fraternal twin, Nubia has since been presented variously as DC Comics' continuities have shifted and evolved. At turns, she has been portrayed as both a parallel-universe version of Wonder Woman and as an inheritor of the Wonder Woman mantle in a future timeline. Alitha E. Martinez is an American comic book artist best known for her work on for Marvel Comics's '' Iron Man'', the ''Heroes'' webcomics, and DC's '' Batgirl''. Over the course of her career she has worked for all the major comic book publishers, including Marvel, DC Comics, Image Comics, and Archie Comics. Infinite Frontier is a 2021 relaunch by the American comic book publisher DC Comics of its entire line of ongoing monthly superhero comic book titles in 2021. It is the follow-up to the 2016 DC Rebirth relaunch. The relaunch and event was shepherded by writer Joshua Williamson. The continuity and repercussions established by Infinite Frontier continues into the 2023 '' Dawn of DC'' relaunch. Philippus (character)
Philippus is a fictional character created by DC Comics. She made her first appearance in February 1987 as an Amazon character in the ''Wonder Woman'' comic book. The character was created by writer/artist George Pérez. Philippus made her live action debut on the DC Extended Universe films ''Wonder Woman'', ''Justice League'', and ''Zack Snyder's Justice League'', played by Ann Ogbomo. Supergirl is the name of several fictional superheroines appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The original, current, and most well known Supergirl is Kara Zor-El, the cousin of superhero Superman.
