Nowela Elizabeth Mikhelia Auparay (born 19 December 1987) is an Indonesian singer and winner of the eighth season of '' Indonesian Idol''. Career Nowela was born in Wamena, Papua. Her father is of Papuan descent and her mother is Batak Batak is a collective term used to identify a number of closely related Austronesian ethnic groups predominantly found in North Sumatra, Indonesia, who speak Batak languages. Wamena
Wamena is a town and the capital of the Indonesian province of Highland Papua. It also serves as the seat of Jayawijaya Regency. It is the largest town in Indonesian Papua's highlands, in the Baliem Valley and had a population of 64,967 at the 2020 Census. Wamena is the urban centre of a rural area housing highland Papua's highest concentration of population, with over 300,000 people inhabiting the Baliem Valley and surrounding areas. Iwa Kusuma, also known as Iwa K (born 25 October 1970) is Indonesian rapper, singer, songwriter, TV presenter, and actor. Kusuma was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was a pioneer in Indonesian hip hop music and since his successful career in 1990s, he has become an icon of the nation's hip hop music genre. He began his musical career in the late 1980s.
