Andrew Nowacki
Andrew Nowacki (born October 10, 1980) is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver. He last played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted by the Eskimos in the third round of the 2004 CFL Draft. He played college football for the Murray State Racers. College career Nowacki began his collegiate career at Scottsdale Community College before transferring after two seasons to Murray State University. From 2001 to 2003, Nowacki played in 24 games recording 53 receptions for 608 receiving yards. He led the Racers in receiving as a redshirt senior with 43 catches for 477 yards. Professional career Nowacki was selected in the third round (26th overall) by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 2004 CFL Draft. As a rookie, Nowacki rarely played only recording one catch for seven yards. Andrzej Nowacki is an Op Art artist of Polish origin who lives and works in Berlin. Early life Andrzej Nowacki was born on 15 October 1953 in Rabka, Poland. He spent his youth in Krakow. His first artistic experience was in interior design and art restoration. Henryk Józef Nowacki
Henryk Józef Nowacki (born 11 August 1946) is a Polish prelate of the Catholic Church who has spent his career in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. Biography Nowacki was born on 11 August 1946 in Gunzenhausen. He was ordained a priest on 31 May 1970 by Jerzy Karol Ablewicz, Bishop of Tarnów. On 8 February 2001, Pope John Paul II appointed him titular archbishop of Blera and Apostolic Nuncio to Slovakia. He received his episcopal consecration from John Paul II on 19 March. On 28 November 2007, Pope Benedict XVI named him Apostolic Nuncio to Nicaragua. Benedict appointed him Apostolic Nuncio in Sweden and Iceland on 28 June 2012. On 6 October 2012 Nowacki was named Apostolic Nuncio in Denmark, Finland and Norway as well. He retired in February 2017 for health reasons after a private audience with Pope Francis. Witold Nowacki
Prof Witold Nowacki HFRSE PPAS (1911–1986) was a Polish mathematician and expert on the mechanics of elasticity and thermoelasticity. He served as President of the Polish Academy of Sciences from 1978 to 1980 and was the first President of the Society of the Interaction of Mathematics and Mechanics. Life He was born in Zakrzewo in Poland on 20 July 1911, the son of Ludwik Nowacki and his wife, Bronislawa Czyzewska. He studied at Gdańsk Polytechnic graduating in 1934. In the Second World War he served as an officer in the Polish Army but was captured in 1939 and spent the entire war as a German prisoner of war. In 1945 he was accepted as a Professor at Gdańsk University of Technology lecturing in the Strength of Materials. In 1952 he transferred to Warsaw Polytechnic lecturing in Building Mechanics and from 1955 taught Elasticity and Plasticity at Warsaw University. Jan Paweł Nowacki (25 June 1905, in Berlin – 23 May 1979, in Warsaw) was an engineer. He worked for the British during World War II on radar installations, and later had a career as a university lecturer. Biography He attended secondary school in Berlin. From 1919 he lived in Poznań, where he received his high school diploma. He graduated in 1929 in Lwów with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1928 he was appointed assistant professor to Kazimierz Idaszewski. He earned his PhD in 1937. At the same time he directed various technical projects, such as the electrification of the Warsaw railway junction. In 1940 he went to France and later to England. Barbara Anna Nowacka (born 10 May 1975) is a Polish politician. A left activist in Labour United, and later in Your Movement, in October 2015 she became leader of the United Left coalition for the 2015 Polish parliamentary election, bringing together Labour United, Your Movement, the Democratic Left Alliance, the Greens, and the Polish Socialist Party.
