Noverre Musson
Noverre (May 2, 1998 – 2012) was an American-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. Background Noverre was a bay horse bred by Darley Stud and raced by a sister operation, Godolphin Racing. He was sired by Rahy, out of the mare Danseur Fabuleux who was also the dam of 1991 European Horse of the Year, Arazi. Noverre was trained at age two by David Loder. Racing career Noverre won two listed races in France and two Group 2 events in England. Sent to the United States, the colt finished eleventh on dirt in the 2000 Breeders' Cup Juvenile, hosted that year by Churchill Downs. At age three, Noverre's owners turned his race conditioning over to Saeed bin Suroor. Rahy
Rahy (February 18, 1985 – September 22, 2011) was a Thoroughbred racehorse who competed in England and the United States. Background Bred by Hill 'n' Dale Farms in Lexington, Rahy was a son of the very important sire Blushing Groom and out of the Eclipse Award winner and Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame mare Glorious Song. Rahy was purchased as a yearling for US$2 million by Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum and brought to race in England for the 1987 season. Racing career Out of his seven starts at ages two and three, Rahy won three races. In his most significant event, he ran second to Robert Sangster's colt Gallic League in the 1987 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket Racecourse. At age four, Rahy was sent to race in the United States, where he was conditioned by Neil Drysdale. UAE 2000 Guineas
The UAE 2000 Guineas, is a horse race run over a distance of 1,600 metres (one mile) on dirt in February at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai. The race is restricted to three-year-olds. It was first contested in 2000 on dirt at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse. It was transferred to Meydan in 2010 where it was run on the synthetic Tapeta Footings surface. In 2015 the synthetic surface at Meydan was replaced by a dirt track. The UAE 2000 Guineas began as an ungraded race before being promoted to Group 3 level in 2002. Goodwood Racecourse is a horse-racing track five miles north of Chichester, West Sussex, in England controlled by the family of the Duke of Richmond, whose seat is nearby Goodwood House. Group One, Group 1, Grade I or G1 is the term used for the highest level of Thoroughbred and Standardbred stakes races in many countries. In Europe, the level of races for Thoroughbred racing is determined using the Pattern races, Pattern race system introduced in 1971 and monitored by the European Pattern Committee. To attain or maintain a Group One status, the average rating for the first four finishers in the race must be 115 or higher over a three-year period. Methylprednisolone (Depo-Medrol, Medrol, Solu-Medrol) is a synthetic glucocorticoid, primarily prescribed for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. Longchamp Racecourse
