''Novel'' is a 2008 Indian Malayalam romantic drama film produced and directed by East Coast Vijayan in his directorial debut. Plot Sethunath (Jayaram) is a prosperous business man and also a writer. However, when his creation titled 'Swantham' becomes a best seller and bags the commonwealth awards. The writer is the least interested so much so that he is not even aware who translated his work & earned the award for the book. Aneesa, a journalist, is determined to get a personal interview with her favorite writer Sethu and does not hesitate to get it at the expense of bribing Sethu's secretary Subramaniam Swamy and finally succeeds. Luckily for her, Sethu is impressed with her resilience and also the fact that she comes from the same orphanage that he hailed from makes him open his heart. East Coast Vijayan
East Coast Vijayan is an Indian film producer, director and lyricist who works in Malayalam language. Being a lyricist, Vijayan wrote the music album ''Ninakkai'', which was released in 1998. The music was given by Balabhaskar and the song ''Ninakkay Thozhi Punarjanikkam'' was sung by Biju Narayanan. In 1999, Vijayan came up with his second album in the ''Ninakkai'' series named ''Aadhyamai'', composed by Balabhaskar and penned by Vijayan. In 2001, East Coast came up with ''Ormakkai''. The song "Ormakkai Iniyoru Snehageetham" from the album was composed by M. Jayachandran, written by Vijayan and sung by K. J. Yesudas and K. S. Chithra. Nedumudi Venu
Kesavan Venugopal (22 May 1948 – 11 October 2021), better known by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, was an Indian actor and screenwriter from Kerala, who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 500 films, primarily in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam and also in Tamil cinema, Tamil in a career spanning nearly five decades. He wrote screenplays and directed one film. Nedumudi Venu won three National Film Awards and six Kerala State Film Awards for his various performances. Early life Venu was born as Venugopal to P. K. Kesava Pillai, a school master and P. Devan Sreenivasan (born January 8, 1952), is an Indian film and television actor, producer, and politician from Kerala. He is known for his character roles in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu language films. After many second hero and supporting actor roles, he made his breakthrough in the 1987 film ''New Delhi''.
