''Nova iznenađenja za nova pokolenja'' (''New surprises for new generations'') is the fourth album by the Serbian alternative rock band Disciplina Kičme, released by the Serbian record label PGP RTB in 1990. This is the last album to feature the name Disciplina Kičme, as the following releases were released under the alternative band name Disciplin A Kitschme. Disciplina Kičme
Disciplin A Kitschme, originally known as Disciplina Kičme ( sr-Cyrl, Дисциплина Кичме, transl. ''Backbone Discipline''), was a Serbian and Yugoslav and, for a period of time, British rock band, formed in Belgrade in 1981. The band was noted for their unique and energetic sound, with bass guitar as the primary instrument and drawing inspiration from punk rock, funk, blues, jazz fusion, Motown, rap, the works of Jimi Hendrix, Yugoslav 1970s progressive and hard rock bands, and in the later phases of their career from jungle and drum and bass. Disciplina Kičme was formed by bass guitarist and vocalist Dušan Kojić "Koja" as one of the two spin-offs of the seminal Yugoslav new wave band Šarlo Akrobata, the other being Ekatarina Velika. PGP-RTB (abbreviation for sr, Produkcija gramofonskih ploča Radio televizije Beograd) was a major state-owned record label and chain record store in the former SFR Yugoslavia, based in Belgrade, Socialist Republic of Serbia. After the breakup of Yugoslavia, in 1993, the company changed its name to PGP-RTS (Produkcija Gramofonskih Ploča Radio-Televizije Srbije). Serbian (, ) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs. Rock Express Top 100 Yugoslav Rock Songs Of All Times
100 najboljih pesama svih vremena YU rocka (''Top 100 Yugoslav Rock Songs of All Times'') was a list compiled by the Serbian music magazine '' Rock Express''. In 1999, ''Rock Express'' started the poll for the selection of top 100 Yugoslav rock songs. The whole list was published in the 25th issue of ''Rock Express'', in 2000. The list contains rock music songs from Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the songs from successor states. The list Voting Every voter chose five songs, each of them receiving a vote. Audience More than 3400 readers took a part in the poll. Readers from FR Yugoslavia and other SFR Yugoslavia successor states, as well as from other countries took a part in the poll. Journalists 120 journalists and music critics from FR Yugoslav media took a part in the poll. Musicians 100 musicians took a part in the poll. Manitou (), akin to the Iroquois ''orenda'', is the spiritual and fundamental life force among Algonquian groups in the Native American theology. Pop Mašina ( sr-cyr, Поп Машина; trans. ''Pop Machine'') was a Yugoslav progressive rock band formed in Belgrade in 1972. Pop Mašina was one of the most notable bands of the Yugoslav rock scene in the 1970s. Pop Mašina was formed by bass guitarist and vocalist Robert Nemeček, guitarist and vocalist Zoran Božinović, drummer Ratislav "Raša" Đelmaš and vocalist Sava Bojić. Đelmaš and Bojić left Pop Mašina soon after its formation, and the band continued as a trio with the new drummer, Mihajlo "Bata" Popović. The lineup featuring Nemeček, Zoran Božinović and Popović is the longest lasting, the most successful and the best known Pop Mašina lineup.
