Nova Scotia Route 333
Route 333 is a collector road in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. It is located in the Halifax Regional Municipality, connecting Upper Tantallon at Trunk 3 with Beechville at Trunk 3. From Tantallon to Peggy's Cove it is known as the "Peggy's Cove Road". From West Dover to Beechville it is named the "Prospect Road". The entire route is part of the Lighthouse Route scenic travel way. Indian Harbour, Nova Scotia
Indian Harbour is a small fishing community of the Halifax Regional Municipality in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia on the Chebucto Peninsula. It is located between the communities of Peggy's Cove and Hackett's Cove. History Indian Harbour was founded in the early 18th century. The first recorded person to live in Indian Harbour was John Ormsby in 1784. The first and the oldest house in Indian Harbour is still standing today at the age of over 250 years. Indian Harbour is located next to the popular tourist destination Peggy's Cove and its famous lighthouse. There is also a lighthouse in Indian Harbour, located at the end of Paddy's Head Peninsula. The lighthouse was built in 1901 and manned until 1945, when power was introduced to the area. Bedford Bypass
The Bedford Bypass, internally designated as Trunk 33, is a highway in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The Bedford Bypass is the name given to a long 4-lane highway connecting Windmill Road ( Trunk 7) in Dartmouth to Exit 1 of Highway 101 in the Lower Sackville area of the Halifax Regional Municipality. The highway is not visibly assigned with a route number; however, it is assigned Trunk 33 by the provincial transportation department as an unsigned highway. Many maps incorrectly show it as an eastern continuation of Highway 101. Long Lake Provincial Park (Nova Scotia)
Long Lake Provincial Park is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was initiated in 1981 by then Premier John Buchanan after Halifax's water supply had been shifted from the Spruce Hill/Long Lake/Chain Lakes watershed to the Pockwock Lake watershed near Hammonds Plains. The park, formally established in 1984, constitutes the bulk of these former watershed lands.
