Wiktoria Vendela Johansson (born 8 November 1996), known professionally as simply Wiktoria, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She first achieved public attention during Melodifestivalen 2016, where she placed fourth. Life and career Johansson was born on 8 November 1996 in Brämhult, a suburb of Borås. In 2011, she participated in Lilla Melodifestivalen and placed fourth with the self-penned song "Jag behöver dig". Melodifestivalen 2019 was the 59th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen and was held between 2 February 2019 and 9 March 2019. Presenters were Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor, Marika Carlsson and Eric Saade. Edward af Sillén returned as a consultant and adviser, producing various interval acts for the hosts. The winner of the contest is John Lundvik with the song " Too Late for Love". He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel, finishing in 5th place. "As I Lay Me Down" is a song recorded by Swedish singer Wiktoria, written by Justin Forrest, Jonas Wallin, and Lauren Dyson and produced by Didrik Franzen. The song was released as a digital download in Sweden on 25 February 2017 and peaked at number 2 on the Swedish Singles Chart. It took part in Melodifestivalen 2017, and qualified to the final from the fourth semi-final on 25 February 2017.
