Not Quite Human II
''Not Quite Human 2'' is a 1989 television film written and directed by Eric Luke and starring Jay Underwood, Alan Thicke, and Robyn Lively. As the second of three films in a series based on the '' Not Quite Human'' novels by Seth McEvoy, it follows the social development of an android that is designed to appear human, this time as he enrolls in college and is on his own for the first time. The filming locations were Arizona State University, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. Plot The film begins with Chip (Jay Underwood), the android, installing specially-ordered software designed to enhance his facial expressions; it is later discovered that he also inadvertently intakes a computer virus that causes him to malfunction very gradually, diminishing control over his own system's functions. Initially, the virus simply causes Chip to have momentary memory lapses resulting in poor judgment, but within five days it will completely destroy his internal systems, wiping his memory. Eric Luke
Eric Luke (born October 31, 1962 in Salem, Massachusetts) is an American writer. Career Film Eric Luke began his career in film writing. Previous film work included: ''Explorers'' for Paramount Pictures, numerous screenplays for MGM and others, and also wrote and directed the latter two films in the '' Not Quite Human'' trilogy for the Disney Channel. Television Moving to television, he eventually wrote scripts for the ''Tales from the Cryptkeeper'' series and co-plotted the '' Gargoyles'' pilot five-parter for The Walt Disney Company. He returned to television to Executive Produce, Story Edit and script the Fox Kids TV animated series '' Xyber 9'', which later aired on the Toon Disney channel. He would later write scripts for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003). Greg Mullavey (born Gregory Thomas Mulleavy Jr., September 10, 1939) is an American film and television actor who has had roles as Tom Hartman in the television series ''Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman'' and Carly's grandfather in '' iCarly''. Eric Bruskotter
Eric Bruskotter is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Cleveland Indians rookie Catcher Rube Baker in ''Major League II'' and '' Major League: Back to the Minors'' as well as his role as Private Scott Baker in the TV series '' Tour Of Duty.''
