Not Fade Away (film)
''Not Fade Away'' is a 2012 American drama film and the first directed by ''The Sopranos creator, David Chase. It was released on December 21, 2012. Plot In 1960s suburban New Jersey, a group of friends form a rock band and try to make it big. In his late teens, Douglas Damiano lives with: his father Pat, who suffers from psoriasis and is physically rough with Douglas; his mother Antoinette, who frequently grows hysterical and threatens suicide; and his sister Evelyn. Douglas sees his friend Eugene Gaunt singing and playing lead guitar for a band in high school, and resolves to join the band to earn the affections of Grace Dietz. Douglas gets his chance when the band's drummer, Schindewulf, is drafted to go to Vietnam. In the wake of the "British Invasion", Gene is trying to remodel his band after the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, and he believes Douglas is suited to this style. David Chase
David Henry Chase (born August 22, 1945) is an American filmmaker. He wrote and produced the HBO drama ''The Sopranos'' which aired for six seasons between 1999 and 2007. Chase has also produced and written for such shows as ''The Rockford Files'', ''I'll Fly Away'', and '' Northern Exposure''. He created the original series '' Almost Grown'' which aired for 10 episodes in 1988 and 1989. He has won seven Emmy Awards. "Roadrunner" is a song written by Jonathan Richman and recorded in various versions by Richman and his band, in most cases credited as the Modern Lovers. Charlie Watts
Charles Robert Watts (2 June 1941 – 24 August 2021) was an English musician who achieved international fame as the drummer of the Rolling Stones from 1963 until his death in 2021. Jordan "Jerry" Ragovoy (September 4, 1930 – July 13, 2011) was an American songwriter and record producer. His best-known composition " Time Is on My Side" (written under the pseudonym of Norman Meade) was made famous by the Rolling Stones, although it had been recorded earlier by Kai Winding and Irma Thomas.
