"Not Alone" is a song written and recorded by American rock band Linkin Park from the compilation album, '' Download to Donate for Haiti''. It is the twenty-first single by the band, and was released on October 21, 2011. The song is the opening track on the album. In addition to the single, a music video was released on January 19, 2010. Background It is said by Mike Shinoda that the electronic elements in the band's fourth studio album has its roots from this song. Shinoda and Rick Rubin together released the single. This is the one and the only single from the compilation album. The song was also included in the album ''Download to Donate for Haiti V2.0'' as a track which is a sequel for the compilation album. Following the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, the band also included an instrumental song "Issho Ni" in the third sequel of the album, ''Download to Donate: Tsunami Relief''. "Lying from You" is a song by American rock music, rock band Linkin Park, released on March 16, 2004. It was released as an airplay-only single from their second album, ''Meteora (album), Meteora'', which was released on March 25, 2003. David Michael Farrell, also known by his stage name Phoenix (born February 8, 1977), is an American musician, best known as the bassist of the rock band Linkin Park. He was also a member of Tasty Snax, a pop punk band. Early life He was born in Plymouth but later moved to Mission Viejo, California at the age of five. Farrell was taught how to play guitar by his mother when he was in high school. He also played the violin in high school. Robert Gregory Bourdon (born January 20, 1979) is an American musician, best known as the drummer and co-founding member of the American rock band Linkin Park. Early life Bourdon was born in Calabasas, California. He received classical piano lessons at a young age. He was inspired to play the drums after attending an Aerosmith concert, where he was personally introduced to drummer Joey Kramer. He also cites Tower of Power and Earth, Wind and Fire as his early influences.
