Nosler, Inc. is an American manufacturing company based in Bend, Oregon, known for producing ammunition and handloading components and specializing in high performance hollow point and soft point hunting bullets. The current companies also include subsidiaries Nosler Custom and Nosler Reloading. Nosler's contributions to shooting sports include both polymer-tipped bullet designs and new manufacturing techniques used in their production. Early history John Amos Nosler was born on April 4, 1913 in Brawley, California. While hunting moose in British Columbia in 1946, the bullets he was using failed to penetrate deeply enough to reach vital organs and kill the animal quickly.Aaron Carter "John A. Brawley (formerly, Braly) is a city in the Imperial Valley and within Imperial County, southern California, United States. The population was 24,953 at the 2010 census, up from 22,052 in 2000. The spitzer bullet (or spire point) is a pointed projectile that is primarily used in small-arms.
