Nose Railway
The , occasionally abbreviated as Nose Railway or , is a Japanese private railway company headquartered in Kawanishi, Hyogo, which links several areas in the mountainous Nose, Osaka, area to Kawanishi-noseguchi Station in Kawanishi, where one can transfer to Hankyu Takarazuka Line to Osaka. Nose Electric Railway is a principal subsidiary of Hankyu Corporation. A rush-hour special express train, the ''Nissei Limited Express'', operates from Nissei-chuo Station to Umeda Station, the terminal of Hankyu in Osaka, in the morning and back again in the evening for commuters. Lines and stations Nose Railway has two lines: * Myōken Line (Kawanishi-noseguchi - Myōkenguchi) * Nissei Line (Yamashita - Nissei-chuo) The former is the main route and the latter branches off at Yamashita Station. Uguisunomori Station
is a passenger railway station located in the city of Kawanishi, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the private transportation company Nose Electric Railway. Lines Uguisunomori Station is served by the Myōken Line, and is located 2.7 kilometers from the terminus of the line at . Station layout The station two opposed unnumbered ground-level side platforms. The platforms have an effective length of six cars, but currently only four-car trains stop. Each platform has its own ticket gate, and t is not possible to change platforms within the station. The station is unattended. Myōkenguchi Station
is a train station in Toyono, Toyono District, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The station name translates loosely to: Entrance to Miyoken Mountain (Miyokenzan). The whole mountain is a spiritual complex that includes Miyoken no Mori where there is a cable car, family barbecue area, scenic chair lift and finally, the temple which is known as Nose Miyokenzan, which can trace its history back to 1603, which is considered the beginning of the Tokugawa Bakufu, or Edo Era. Toyono, Osaka
is one of the two towns in Toyono District. The town is located in the second northernmost area in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The town is surrounded by two municipal borders to Kyoto Prefecture and Kawanishi, Hyōgo. The town covers the hilly and forest area in northern Osaka Prefecture. The West Block is at 200 to 300 meters high altitude, and the East and Southeast Blocks are at 400 to 600 meters high. As of October 2016, the town has an estimated population of 19,519 and a density of 570 persons per km2. The total area is 34.37 km2. The West Block has a few convenient access to the nearby city area within a 10-minute car drive. The Super highway provides an exit called "Minoh Todoromi" and the electrical railways provide 3 stations in the West Block. The railway runs to the northwest and to the south.
