Norwegian National Road 4 ( no, Riksvei 4, ) is a national road in Norway which is the main route north from the capital city of Oslo to the junction with the European route E6 highway at the village of Biri in Gjøvik Municipality. The road runs through Nittedal, Hadeland, and Toten to its terminus on the shore of the lake Mjøsa. In 2021, the government began studying ways to improve the road to allieviate traffic problems. Route The southern terminus of the road is at a roundabout intersection where the roads ''Trondheimsveien'' and ''Fagerheimsgata'' meet in the Sinsen neighborhood of the city of Oslo. The road heads north and continues to be called the ''Trondheimsveien''. The Sinsenkrysset intersection with the Ring 3 highway is less than north of the start of this road. Gjelleråsen
Gjelleråsen is an area which constitutes part of Oslomarka outside Oslo, Norway. The area is bordered by Skedsmo to the east and Nittedal to the north. There are many historic roads running through the area, and two modern highways, Norwegian National Road 4 to the north, and European route E6 to the south. The village of Gjelleråsen is known as a stopping point on Trondheimsveien, where Norwegian National Road 4 (Rv4) and join Norwegian National Road 22 (Rv22). Hagantunnelen on Norwegian National Road 4 starts at Gjelleråsen and at comes out at Slattum, where Norwegian National Road 4 runs north to Nittedal. The headquarters of Ringnes lies in Gjelleråsen. Reinsvoll is a village in Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the Norwegian National Road 4 between the villages of Eina and Raufoss. Eina
Eina is a village in Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the Gjøvikbanen railway line, between the villages of Jaren and Raufoss. The village of Eina is located south of the municipal centre of Raufoss, on the north shore of the lake Einavatnet. Einavatnet is a lake which lies in Vestre Toten Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake lies at an elevation of above sea level. The lake lies in the southern portion of the municipality, about south of the municipal centre, Raufoss. The village of Eina lies at the northern end of the lake. The Eina Church is located on the eastern shore of the lake. The Norwegian National Road 4 runs along the eastern shore of the lake.
