Norwegian National Rail Administration
The Norwegian National Rail Administration ( no, Jernbaneverket) was a government agency responsible for owning, maintaining, operating and developing the Norwegian railway network, including the track, stations, classification yards, traffic management and timetables. Safety oversight was the duty of the Norwegian Railway Inspectorate, while numerous operating companies run trains on the lines; the largest being the state owned passenger company Vy (formerly NSB) and the freight company CargoNet. The administration operated all railways in Norway, except public station areas and freight terminals built before 1997 and private sidings. Optical Fiber

Osmund Ueland (born 27 September 1947) is a Norwegian civil servant and former CEO of Norges Statsbaner (NSB). An engineer by education, he worked for Aker from 1975 to 1990. From 1990 to 1994 he headed the Lillehammer Olympic Organising Committee (LOOC). Kirkenes–Bjørnevatn Line
The Kirkenes–Bjørnevatn Line ( no, Kirkenes–Bjørnevatnbanen), or the Sydvaranger Line (), is a long railway line between Kirkenes and Bjørnevatn in Sør-Varanger, Norway. Owned by the private mining company Northern Iron, the single-track railway is solely used to haul 20 daily iron ore trains from Bjørnevatn Mine to the port at Kirkenes. It was the world's northernmost railway until 2010, when the Obskaya–Bovanenkovo Line in Russia went further north. The line was built by the mining company Sydvaranger, who started construction in 1907 and inaugurated the railway in 1910. The Norwegian Railway Museum ( no, Norsk Jernbanemuseum) is located at Hamar in Innlandet county, Norway. It is Norway's national railway museum. History Established in 1896, until 1912 the collection was housed on the second floor of the Hamar Station. The museum is now located at the museum park at Martodden by Lake Mjøsa.
