Northern Lakes League (OHSAA)
The Northern Lakes League (NLL), is an OHSAA high school athletic conference that was formed in 1956 and comprises eight high schools in Northwest Ohio. Current members Future members On April 9, 2021, invitations were extended to four schools that are currently members of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference, starting with the 2023-2024 school year: Findlay, Fremont Ross, Oregon Clay, and Whitmer. Former members League history 1950s *The Great Northern Conference had been created in 1945 with Oregon Clay, Maumee, Perrysburg, Rossford, Sylvania and Toledo Whitmer as its charter members. Anthony Wayne would join them in 1953. Ohio High School Athletic Association
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. The OHSAA governs eligibility of student athletes, resolves disputes, organizes levels of competition by divisional separation of schools according to attendance population, and conducts state championship competitions in all the OHSAA-sanctioned sports. Membership There are approximately 820 member high schools and 850 more schools in the 7th-8th grade division of the OHSAA. Most public and private high schools in Ohio belong to the OHSAA. Springfield Local High School
Springfield High School is a public high school located in Holland, Ohio, United States. It has an enrollment of approximately 1200 students in grades 9-12. The students it serves come from Holland, Sylvania Township, Maumee, Spencer Township, Toledo, and most of Springfield Township. Early history The first school house in Springfield Township was a log cabin on the south side of Angola Road between McCord and Clark Street. Land for more schools was deeded to the township. The Eight Square School on Garden Road in 1846; the Red School on Holloway Road in 1847; the Green School on Holland-Sylvania in 1847; Starr School at Crissey in 1848 and Clark Street School in 1847. Eastwood High School (Pemberville, Ohio)
Eastwood High School is a public high school located in Troy Township, in between the villages of Pemberville and Luckey in the U.S. State of Ohio. It is the only high school in the Eastwood Local School District, which covers parts of eastern Wood County, and holds grades nine through twelve. The school colors are red, white, and Columbia blue and it competes in the Northern Buckeye Conference for athletics. Eastwood is affiliated with the Penta Career Center. Fremont Ross High School (FRHS) is a public high school in Fremont, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Fremont City School District, and one of two high schools in Fremont, the other being Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School. Clay High School (Oregon, Ohio)
Clay High School is a public high school in Oregon, Ohio, United States, east of Toledo. It is the only high school in the Oregon City School District. The school is named for Jeremiah Clay, who donated his farmland for the school to be built on. Over the last few years the Clay High School Campus has undergone remodeling. An addition was made to the main building, while the old elementary and the Annex were demolished. The Main building also was gutted and redone. The school colors are green and yellow. Their nickname is the Eagles, after their mascots Eddy and Edna the Eagle. Clay was a member of the Great Lakes League until 2003 when they joined the Toledo City League.
