Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC is an American professional soccer team based in Windsor, Colorado. The club was founded in 2021, and made its competitive debut in 2022. The team plays in USL League One, the third tier of the American soccer pyramid, and is owned by the Katofsky family and the Future Legends ownership group. Future Legends Complex
Future Legends Complex is a sports complex the western United States, located in Windsor, Colorado, southeast of Fort Collins. On November 30, 2020, the Orem Owlz of the Pioneer League announced that they would move from Utah to Windsor and play as the Northern Colorado Owlz starting in the 2021 season. In January 2021, they postponed their start date to 2022. It was also announced in January 2021 that Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, a new soccer team in USL League One, would debut at Future Legends Sports Complex in 2022, but the facility wasn't ready until 2023. The Hailstorm and Owlz currently play at TicketSmarter Stadium located in the heart of the Future Legends Complex. Jerry Desdunes (born 13 April 2001) is a Haitian professional footballer. Career Desdunes played locally with Depoze FC and Exafoot, before moving to the United States in 2018 to join the Kalonji Soccer Academy. In 2021, Desdunes played with USL League Two club Peachtree City MOBA, where he scored six goals in 14 regular season appearances. Desdunes followed this with a spell in the NISA with San Diego 1904, making 18 appearances. The Northern Colorado Owlz are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) but is an MLB Partner League. They are based in Windsor, Colorado and will play their home games at the under construction TicketSmarter Stadium at Future Legends Complex upon completion of the ballpark. In conjunction with a contraction of Minor League Baseball in 2021, the Pioneer League was converted from an MLB-affiliated Rookie Advanced league to an independent baseball league and granted status as an MLB Partner League. The league's Orem Owlz of Orem, Utah, relocated to Windsor concurrent with this change to the league.
