The Northern Arizona Wranglers are a professional indoor football team based in Prescott Valley, Arizona. They are members of the Indoor Football League and play their home games at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley beginning in the 2021 season. History On August 25, 2020, the Indoor Football League (IFL) held a press conference at the Findlay Toyota Center to announce a new expansion team in Prescott Valley. The team is the third IFL franchise in the state of Arizona, along with the Arizona Rattlers and Tucson Sugar Skulls, for the 2021 season. They will be the third indoor football team to play in Prescott Valley. The Jacksonville Sharks are a professional indoor football team based in Jacksonville, Florida, playing their home games at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Beginning in 2017, the Sharks began play as charter members of the National Arena League (NAL). They were members of the Arena Football League (AFL) from 2010 to 2016 and won the championship of their division in the first four seasons of their existence. The Quad City Steamwheelers are an indoor American football team that began play in 2018. They played their first season as part of the Champions Indoor Football, but have joined the Indoor Football League prior to their second season. Based in Moline, Illinois, the Steamwheelers play their home games at the TaxSlayer Center. The team announced it would be dormant for the 2021 season due to the arena capacity restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Steamwheelers are named after the Quad Cities' previous team of the same name, which played in all ten of the AF2's seasons (2000– 2009) and won the first two ArenaCups. IFL National Championship
The IFL National Championship (formerly the United Bowl) is the Indoor Football League's championship game. It has been played every year since 2009, except for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The current champions are the Northern Arizona Wranglers, who won their first IFL National Championship in 2022, their second season in the league. The Sioux Falls Storm won six straight United Bowls from 2011 to 2016. History The IFL continued to use the "United Bowl" name originally used by United Indoor Football (UIF). The UIF used this name before they merged with Intense Football League to form the Indoor Football League.
