The Northeast Conference soccer tournament is the conference soccer championship of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference. The top four finishers in the regular season of the conference's eight teams advance to the single-elimination tournament. The tournament is held at the campus of the regular season champion. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The NEC started fielding men's soccer games in 1985 and started a conference tournament in 1989, Fairleigh Dickinson won the inaugural championship. St. Francis Brooklyn have won the most titles with nine (9). Fairleigh Dickinson holds the longest consecutive championship streak (4, 2000–03), followed by Monmouth (3, 2009–11). The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports; football competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States, from which the conference derives its name. Merrimack Warriors Men's Soccer
The Merrimack Warriors men's soccer program represents the Merrimack College in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1970, the Warriors compete in the Northeast Conference The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Sacred Heart Pioneers are the 32 sports teams (14 men, 18 women) representing Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut in intercollegiate athletics. The Rider Broncs are the athletic teams of Rider University, a private nonsectarian university in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States.
