North Salinas High School
North Salinas High School is a public high school established in Salinas, California. It is one of five primary high schools of the Salinas Union High School District. The school was founded in 1959 as the second high school in the system to relieve overcrowding at the original high school in Salinas, Salinas High School. Salinas, California
Salinas (; Spanish for "Salt Marsh or Salt Flats") is a city in California and the county seat of Monterey County. With a population of 163,542 in the 2020 Census, Salinas is the most populous city in Monterey County. Salinas is an urban area located along the northern limits of the Monterey Bay Area, lying just south of the San Francisco Bay Area and southeast of the mouth of the Salinas River. Carl Nicks, Jr. (born May 14, 1985) is a former American football player who was a guard in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons. He played college football for the University of Nebraska, and was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
