North Iberville Elementary and High School is a K-12 school in Rosedale, Louisiana. Both schools are a part of the Iberville Parish School Board. North Iberville Elementary serves grades K-6 and North Iberville High School serves grades 7-12. North Iberville High School closed in 2009 despite a parental movement to keep the school open. Students were rezoned to Plaquemine High School Plaquemine High School is a public high school located at 59595 Belleview Drive in unincorporated Iberville Parish, Louisiana, United States, south of the City of Plaquemine. It serves grades from seven to twelve and is administered by the Ibervil .... Parents and Rosedale community members sued the parish to try to keep the school open. In 2015 Rosedale community members made plans to start C.S. King College Preparatory Academy, a grade 7-12 charter school. K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993, well known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. In January 2012, K-1 Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, acquired the rights to K-1, and is the current organizer of K-1 events worldwide. Founded in 1993 by karateka Kazuyoshi Ishii, at its height in the late 90s and the 2000s under the ownership of the Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), K-1 was the largest and most prestigious "Kickboxing" organization in the world. With thousands of fighters and watched by millions of fans around the world.
