North Carolina Highway 67
North Carolina Highway 67 (NC 67) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The highway travels through Yadkin and Forsyth Counties between its western terminus at U.S. Route 21 Business (US 21 Business) in Jonesville and NC 150 in Winston-Salem. NC 67 primarily follows an east–west alignment and connects the towns of Jonesville, Boonville, and East Bend, along with the city of Winston-Salem. The first NC 67 was established as an original North Carolina state highway in 1921 traversing a route between Taylorsville and Sparta. The highway was later extended south to Conover in 1926, but was replaced by NC 16 and NC 18 by 1929. Modern-day NC 67 was created in 1930 travelling from US 21 and NC 26 in Jonesville to US 421 and NC 60 in Oldtown. Jonesville, North Carolina
Jonesville, originally called Allen's Settlement, is the oldest town in Yadkin County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,285 at the 2010 census. The town grew by nearly 800 residents in 2001 when it merged with neighboring Arlington. Hanes Mall is a shopping mall located off I-40 on Silas Creek Parkway between Stratford Road and Hanes Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Hanes Mall Boulevard, the road named after the mall, has become a very high traffic count area with over 250 businesses stretching over 2.9 miles. The mall has GLA and has 3 anchor stores and over 170 tenants in all. The mall's anchor stores are Belk, Dillard's, and JCPenney. Salem Parkway (North Carolina)
The Salem Parkway is an freeway in the U.S. state of North Carolina, serving the cities of Winston-Salem and Kernersville. It is signed as U.S. Route 421 (US 421) for its entire length, though it is also concurrent with US 158 in downtown Winston-Salem and North Carolina Highway 150 (NC 150) between Winston-Salem and Kernersville. Originally known as the East–West Expressway, it was designated as part of Interstate 40 (I-40) and opened in 1958, becoming the first section of Interstate Highway in the state. A cloverleaf interchange is a two-level interchange in which all turns are handled by slip roads. To go left (in right-hand traffic; reverse directions in left-driving regions), vehicles first continue as one road passes over or under the other, then exit right onto a one-way three-fourths loop ramp (270°) and merge onto the intersecting road. Silas Creek Parkway (Winston-Salem)
Silas Creek Parkway is a route in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The road is designed as a partial loop around several neighborhoods, from northwestern Winston-Salem, to the southeast area of the city. The route is an expressway as it has grade-separated interchanges and is a popular connector to Interstate 40 and US 421 to other locations in the city such as Wake Forest University, Hanes Mall, and the LJVM Coliseum. The route also has several at-grade intersections with major arterial thoroughfares especially in the southeast section which in which that stretch of the route uses a boulevard grade, giving more direct accesses to several commercial districts. Bethania, North Carolina
Bethania is the oldest municipality in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States, and was most recently incorporated in 1995, upon the reactivation of the original 1838/1839 town charter.
