North Carolina FC Youth
North Carolina FC Youth (NCFC Youth) is an American soccer club and eponymous league based in Raleigh, North Carolina and serving greater Research Triangle. It is the largest youth-to-professional soccer club in the country. Club NCFC Youth was founded as Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) in 1974 as a not-for-profit organization and provides recreational and competitive programs for youth in the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill metropolitan area. NCFC Youth offers teams in all divisions of North Carolina youth soccer including "classic" (first tier competitive teams in US regional and statewide leagues), "challenge" (second tier competitive teams locally), and recreational soccer. Joseph "Scott" Goodwin (born November 1, 1990) is a retired American soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. Career College & Youth Goodwin played four years of college soccer at the University of North Carolina between 2009 and 2012. Goodwin was part of four straight ACC Regular Season Championships, the 2011 ACC Tournament Championship, four straight NCAA Tournament Appearances, three consecutive NCAA College Cup Appearances, and the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I National Championship. Forrest Baldwin Lasso (born May 11, 1993) is an American soccer player who plays for USL Championship club Tampa Bay Rowdies. Early life Lasso played high school soccer at Needham B. Broughton High School. During his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, Lasso won conference championships, which advanced the team to the state tournament those years. Logan Pause (born August 22, 1981) is an American former soccer player and coach who spent his entire twelve-year professional career with the Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer. Playing career College and amateur After attending Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina, Pause played college soccer at the University of North Carolina from 2000 to 2002. After a 2002 season in which he co-captained the Tar Heels and played everywhere from central defense to attacking midfield due to injuries, Pause signed a Project-40 contract with MLS. The Chicago Red Stars are a professional women's soccer club based in Bridgeview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Casey Nicole Loyd (; born February 23, 1989) is an American professional soccer midfielder who most recently played for FC Kansas City of the NWSL in 2013.
