Tim Longest is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 34th district. Biography Longest graduated from JH Rose High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2013 from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree in 2018, from University of North Carolina School of Law. He is a Presbyterian and is a lawyer. He was born in Greenville, North Carolina and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. His father was a public school teacher. Young Republicans
The Young Republican National Federation, commonly referred to as the Young Republicans or YRNF, is a 527 organization for members of the Republican Party of the United States between the ages of 18 and 40. It has both a national organization and chapters in individual states. Although frequently confused, the YRNF is separate from the College Republicans. M. Jackson "Jack" Nichols is an American politician who served as a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2022 to 2023. An attorney from Raleigh, North Carolina, he represented the 34th district (including constituents in Wake County). North Carolina House of Representatives Nichols ran unsuccessfully for the North Carolina House of Representatives in 2000, losing to Republican incumbent Art Pope. Nichols also ran unsuccessfully for the North Carolina Senate in 2004 and 2008. Representative Grier Martin resigned his seat in the NC House on July 8, 2022 to take a job at the pentagon, and local Democrats selected Nichols to serve the balance of Martin's term. According to the Book of Judges, Deborah ( he, דְּבוֹרָה, ''Dəḇōrā'', " bee") was a prophetess of the God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of pre-monarchic Israel and the only female judge mentioned in the Bible.
