Norman Goldman
Norman Maurice Goldman (born March 17, 1959) is an American attorney and a former political talk radio host. Goldman first broadcast nationally as a fill-in host for ''The Ed Schultz Show'' in 2006, as well as creating colorful segments as the show's ''Senior Legal Analyst''. He began hosting his own radio show in 2009, syndicated by Compass Media Networks. Goldman ended the show in 2019. Higher education Goldman graduated from Hunter College of CUNY with a B.A. degree in political science. He then attended and graduated from law school on a full scholarship at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. He passed the California Bar Exam at age 26. Legal career Goldman was the plaintiff's attorney in ''Krumme vs. Mercury'', a 2002 lawsuit in California. Both the trial court and the California Court of Appeal found for the plaintiffs that the insurance companies were mislabelling agents as independent brokers. Rush (band)
Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 in Toronto, that was comprised primarily of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion, lyricist). The band formed in Toronto in 1968 by Lifeson, drummer John Rutsey, and bass guitarist/vocalist Jeff Jones, who was immediately replaced by Lee. After Lee joined, the band went through several lineup configurations before arriving at its classic power trio lineup with the addition of Peart in July 1974, who replaced Rutsey four months after the release of their 1974 self-titled debut album; this lineup remained intact for the remainder of the band's career. Air America (formerly Air America Radio and Air America Media) was an American radio network specializing in progressive talk radio. It was on the air from March 2004 to January 2010. The network was founded as a left wing alternative to counter talk radio with a right wing perspective. Air America featured programs with monologues by on-air personalities, guest interviews, call-ins from listeners, and news reports. Several shows had million plus audiences, and multiple weekday presenters continued on in radio, television, or politics after their time on Air America.
