Norm Roberts
Norman Roberts (born July 21, 1965) is a men's college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at the University of Kansas. He also is the former head coach at St. John's University. Early life Roberts attended Springfield Gardens High School, where he was a teammate of Anthony Mason. Coaching career Roberts's first coaching opportunity came when Jack Curran hired him as coach of the freshman team at Archbishop Molloy High School. In 1991 Roberts became head coach at Queens College, a position he held until 1995. Prior to the 1996–97 season, Roberts was hired by then-Oral Roberts head coach Bill Self. Roberts followed Self to the University of Tulsa (in 1998), University of Illinois (in 2000) and University of Kansas (in 2003). Kansas Jayhawks Men's Basketball
The Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball program of the University of Kansas. The program is classified in the NCAA's Division I and the team competes in the Big 12 Conference. Kansas is considered one of the most prestigious college basketball programs in the country with six overall national championships (4 NCAA Tournament championships and 2 Helms national championships), as well being runner-up six times and having the most conference titles in the nation. Archbishop Molloy High School
Archbishop Molloy High School (also called Molloy, Archbishop Molloy, or AMHS) is a co-educational, college preparatory, Catholic school for grades 9-12, located on on 83-53 Manton Street, Briarwood, Queens, New York. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn . Molloy has an endowment of about $6 million (as of November 2010). 2023 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2023 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament was a postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big 12 Conference. It was played from March 8 to 11 in Kansas City, Missouri at the T-Mobile Center. Texas won the tournament to earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Phillips 66. Seeds All ten teams will participate in the tournament. It will be the final season with the 10 team bracket format as the Big 12 will expand to 14 teams for the 2023–24 season before going to 12 in 2024–25 with the departures of Oklahoma and Texas. 2021–22 Kansas Jayhawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which was the Jayhawks' 124th basketball season. The Jayhawks, members of the Big 12 Conference, played their home games at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. They were led by 19th year Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self. The Jayhawks finished the season 34–6 and won their 4th NCAA Tournament National Championship, their first since 2008, and their 6th National Championship overall. Billy Donovan
William John Donovan Jr. (born May 30, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He has served as head coach of the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA) since September 2020 after previously coaching the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2015 to 2020. Before moving to the NBA, he served as the head basketball coach at the University of Florida from 1996 to 2015, and led his Florida Gator teams to back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007, as well as an NCAA championship appearance in 2000. Mike Jarvis
Michael D. Jarvis (born April 12, 1945) is an American college basketball coach most recently as head men's basketball coach at Florida Atlantic University. He has coached at Boston University, George Washington University and St. John's University. He also has worked as a commentator for college basketball games on ESPN. His career college coaching record in over 18 seasons is 364–201. Early life Jarvis was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and played high school basketball at Rindge Technical High School, the predecessor to Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. Kevin Clark (basketball)
Kevin Clark (born May 31, 1958) is an assistant men's basketball coach at the Towson University. He is probably most well known for his stint as the interim head coach at St. John's during the 2003–2004 season. Clark was hired by Mike Jarvis as an assistant at George Washington in 1994, and followed him to St. John's in 1998. In December 2003, Jarvis was fired after a 2-4 start, and Clark was named as his replacement for the rest of the season. Under Clark, the Red Storm were fairly competitive in their first eight Big East Conference games, despite losing each one. Danny Manning
Daniel Ricardo Manning (born May 17, 1966) is an American college basketball coach and former professional player who is the Associate Head Mens Basketball Coach at the University of Louisville. Manning played high school basketball at Walter Hines Page High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, as well as Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Kansas. He played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks, and played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 14 years. Glenn Braica
Glenn Braica (born September 16, 1964) is the men's basketball head coach at St. Francis College since 2010. Braica was born in Brooklyn, New York and is an alumnus of Bishop Ford High School and Queens College. Braica began his head coaching career at St. Francis College in 2010 and had 22 years of coaching experience at the time split between New York City Tech, St. Francis and St. John's as an assistant coach.
