Norm Fleming
Norman Charles John Fleming (4 February 1903 – 12 September 1964) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. Playing career Fleming came to St. George via the local Brighton junior club in 1929. He was a five-eighth and halfback in his playing days and turned out for the Saints on 65 occasions., including 18 first grade games. Norm Fleming later coached his famous son, Doug Fleming in the lower grades at St. George Saint George (Greek: Γεώργιος (Geórgios), Latin: Georgius, Arabic: القديس جرجس; died 23 April 303), also George of Lydda, was a Christian who is venerated as a saint in Christianity. Pyrmont, New South Wales
Pyrmont is an inner-city suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 2 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Sydney. It is also part of the Darling Harbour region. As of 2011, it is Australia's most densely populated suburb. Pyrmont was once a vital component of Sydney's industrial waterfront, with wharves, shipbuilding yards, factories and woolstores. As industry moved out, the population and the area declined. Jannali is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Jannali is located 28 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the Sutherland Shire. The majority of land use in Jannali is residential and bushland reserve, while the suburb is bisected by the north–south railway line. The majority of Jannali's enterprises are located close to the suburb's railway station. Doug Fleming
Douglas Norman Fleming (1930-1998) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s. A goal-kicking , he played in NSWRFL for Sydney's St. George club, winning the 1949 and 1956 Premierships with them. Fleming also played for Dapto's rugby league club. He was the son of the former St. George Dragons halfback Norm Fleming. Playing career In 1949 Fleming started playing in the NSWRFL's first grade premiership for St. George, forcing the club's Test fullback Noel Pidding onto the wing. At the end of the 1949 NSWRFL season he played for St. George at fullback in their grand final victory. Fleming was the 1955 NSWRFL season's top point-scorer. In 1956 he represented Sydney against the New Zealand Māori rugby league team.
