Noriyuki Iwadare
is a Japanese video game composer. Biography Iwadare was born in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. He began to compose video game music after years of being involved with university bands. He began composing for Toaplan, arranging their arcade video game soundtracks for their Sega Mega Drive home console ports, notably the Mega Drive version of ''Zero Wing'' (1990), before composing for other companies such as Game Arts on their ''Lunar'' and ''Grandia'' series. The first award he won the Best Game Music award, the Mega Drive/Genesis category for '' Lunar: The Silver Star'' in 1991. He also won the Best Game Music award in the Sega Saturn Music category for ''Grandia'' in 1997 and in the Dreamcast category for '' Grandia 2'' in 2000. Iwadare first composed music for Tokyo Disney Resort, in addition to Japanese dance programs, television programs, and radio programs. is a role-playing video game developed by Game Arts originally for the Dreamcast console as part of their ''Grandia'' series. Initially released in Japan in August 2000 by Game Arts, the game was later made available in English for North America the following December and in Europe in February 2001, with both releases published by Ubi Soft. The game was later ported to Sony PlayStation 2, where it was released worldwide throughout 2002, and for Microsoft Windows exclusively in North America and Europe later that year. An enhanced port, based upon the Dreamcast version and entitled ''Grandia II Anniversary Edition'' was released on August 24, 2015, on Steam and GOG.com. ''Langrisser II'' is a tactical role-playing game for the Sega Mega Drive console. It is the sequel to ''Langrisser'', and was never released outside Japan. ''Langrisser II'' was remade for the Super Famicom by Masaya as ''Der Langrisser'', which featured multiple paths through the game, greatly reduced difficulty, and reworked graphics. A PC-FX port, ''Der Langrisser FX'', was also released, featuring animated cutscenes. ''SimEarth'' is a life simulation video game, the second designed by Will Wright and published in 1990 by Maxis. In ''SimEarth'', the player controls the development of a planet.
