Nordic Shooting Region
Nordic Shooting Region (NSR), established in 1921, is a union of some of the shooting associations from Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. NSR hosts Nordic championships for some of the ISSF disciplines within pistol, rifle, clay shooting and running target, in addition to some own Nordic disciplines. Finnish Shooting Sport Federation
The Finnish Shooting Sport Federation, ''Finnish'' Suomen Ampumaurheiluliitto (SAL), was founded in 1919 and is an umbrella organization for sport shooting in Finland, representing many international shooting sport organizations in Finland. British Shooting
British Shooting is the national governing body for International Shooting Sport Federation, ISSF shooting sport disciplines in the United Kingdom. The organisation serves as a single shooting body to receive public funding from UK Sport and Sport England, administer high performance squads and talent pathways as well as serve as the member body for shooting sports with organisations such as the British Olympic Association and ISSF. History British Shooting replaced the GB Target Shooting Federation in 2007 as the single point of contact for organisations including the British Olympic Association, British Paralympic Association and ISSF. Unlike governing bodies for many other sports, BS is not a membership organisation and acts as an umbrella. Norges Skytterforbund (NSF), literally the Norwegian Shooting Association, is a Norwegian umbrella organization for shooting sports, and is internationally affiliated with the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), Fédération Internationale de Tir aux Armes Sportives de Chasse (FITASC) and Precision Pistol Competition (WA1500).
