Nordic Regional was an airline based in Umeå, Sweden. It operated a scheduled network of services linking one international and five domestic destinations. Its main base was Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. All operations were cancelled in 2008. Nordic Airways was an airline based in Stockholm, Sweden. It operated extensive charter and wet lease services. The company's low-cost airline subsidiary Nordic Regional also operated a scheduled network of services linking five domestic and one international destination. Its main base was Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Nordic Airways served charter flights for Airtours, Apollo and Neckerman as well as ACMI charters for SAS, Germanwings, Spanair, Sterling, LTE International Airways, Air Comet and Centralwings. History On 2 January 2009, Nordic Airways operated the first commercial flight between Europe and Iraq in 17 years. Gällivare Airport
Gällivare (; fi, Jällivaara; se, Jiellevárri or ; smj, Jiellevárre or ; fit, Jellivaara) is a locality and the seat of Gällivare Municipality in Norrbotten County, province of Lapland, Sweden with 8,449 inhabitants in 2010. The town was founded in the 17th century. Together with nearby towns Malmberget and Koskullskulle it forms a conurbation with some 15,000 inhabitants. This conurbation is the second northernmost significant urban area of Sweden after Kiruna. Kramfors Airport
Kramfors () is a locality and the seat of Kramfors Municipality in Västernorrland County, Sweden. It had a population of 5,990 inhabitants in 2010. The town grew on the western bank of the Ångerman river in the 19th century as harvested logs were floated downriver to be processed at local sawmills and pulp mills. Christopher Kramm introduced the river's first steam-driven saw, naming it after himself. The name of the town in turn derives from his name and the word ("rapid"). In the 1960s and 1970s, as the timber industry went into decline, the population of Kramfors declined as well. The original settlement of Kramfors was located in Gudmundrå municipality, but in 1889 received the status of a so-called or borough, still remaining part of the original municipality.
